Sharing with Opposing Counsel

1. How do I share documents with opposing counsel?

You can share documents directly from the case workspace. Choose to share all documents or only selected files, then generate a secure link with built-in access controls.

2. Can I choose which documents to share?

Yes. You have full control over what is shared. You can select individual documents or choose to share everything.

3. Can I redact documents before sharing?

Yes. DISCLOEZY includes built-in redaction tools that let you remove sensitive information before documents are sent.

4. Is the shared link secure?

Yes. The link is encrypted and access is protected by a PIN. Only the recipient with the PIN can open it.

5. Can I set an expiration for the link?

Yes. You can choose how long the link stays active by setting a custom expiration date when you generate it.

6. What does the opposing lawyer need to access the documents?

They need both the secure link and the PIN you provide separately. This ensures the shared documents stay protected.

7. How can the opposing lawyer download the files?

They can download individual documents one by one or download all shared documents at once as a ZIP file.

8. Can I track whether the opposing counsel accessed the files?

Yes. DISCLOEZY logs access events so you can confirm when and if the documents were viewed or downloaded.
